So this week, one of the jobs I have to make is a custom designed coffee table to compliment an entertainment unit that I’m making for a customer along with a heap of other stuff. After getting all the preparation work completed this morning, I thought to myself this is something that could have progress photo potential for my blog. Which in turn lead to me taking these pics. At this stage it’s taken me and Jacob my apprentice around 4 hours to fully prepare the legs, base and rails. We have had to mark out where all the components need to be routered first. The best thing about this is I don’t have the big machines that most work shops would use, so I use a table I whipped together years ago and mounted my plunge router under it.
