Custom Designed Kitchen L-Shape plus island

Published on June 25, 2012 by in Kitchens

Late last year I was referred to a client by his brother, who I have worked with on quite a few projects over the years. I was asked to design up this kitchen in a shadow line look with no handles, hi gloss black 2pac and 2 tone satin grey 2pac. We also incorporated glass splash backs with a coarse silver paint to the back, 60mm Caesar stone Oyster tops, led strip lighting to the splashbacks and under the island, blum tipon aventos to fridge run overheads and tipon touch release to all other overheads. Along with using the Blumotion for Metabox to all the drawers, inner drawers to pantry and the back mounted sink waste with twin drawer bin, this design came together to create a stunning kitchen. Between the client and myself, we came up with the custom designed kitchen shown in the 3d drawings attached. This was one

2pac shadowline no handle kitchen

Published on June 24, 2012 by in Kitchens

Last year, a customer of mine called looking for a kitchen design to suit her tastes. She was in the process of renovating her Queenslander in Hendra. The design called for an L-shape style layout, with a large island bench and the fridge space and pantry off in a little nook. Originally the design was based around the touch to open look in 2pac, but after mentioning to me that she had seen the shadow line look, I was happy to oblige. This is a style I have done many times over the last 7 or so years, and a look I seem to specialise in. I incorporated the back mounted waste under the sink so that I could include an undersink twin drawer bin, a semi integrated Miele dishwasher and with the extra height to the benchtop the upright stove required a false floor to be put in under

Touch Release Gloss Melamine Kitchen

Published on June 23, 2012 by in Kitchens

One of my long time customers asked me late last year to replace their kitchen which was over 20 years old. This all came about after fully refitting out the lower level of their house after all the Brisbane floods in January 2011. We designed the kitchen to have no handles and be touch to open on all doors and drawers. Due to them not wanting to go down the path of cost on Servo Drive, we went with the Grass Tipmatic Nova Pro drawer system and Blum’s Tip on door openers. We used Flexipanel Designer White Sheen melamine with 1mm pvc edges on the doors, drawers and panels. 40mm Caesar stone tops, a twin tidy bin under the sink cabinet and led strip lighting under the overheads. 5mtr Cool white LED strip light AU$143.00 2 x 20 Litre capacity waste bin AU$53.76 Add Replacement Pails I don’t want a

Melamine bookcase stereo cabinet

Published on June 23, 2012 by in Furniture

A good customer of mine, asked me to come back and do some more work for them. They were requiring another bookcase in the same style as the previous bookcase that I had made for them, but they also wanted to incorporate their record player, amplifier and some speakers. So after meeting with them and discussing their requirements, I came up with a design that would do what they required. Being that it was including a record player, it needed to be thought out a little more. The record player and amplifier were designed to be hidden in behind the cabinet doors, but to be able to use the record player, it would need to come out. So I included a pull out shelf for the record player, and made the doors into pocket doors, so they would be be out of the way when it was in use. You

Cutlist Cabinet Making Facelift

Published on June 17, 2012 by in General

I’ve been working on this for the last few days. The look and feel of Cutlist.biz Cabinet Making has been something I’ve wanted to change for last few months, especially since my logo has now changed as well. If you’re familiar with the look of the old style site, then this will all feel nice and new to you. If you’re not familiar with it, then hopefully you like the layout and design I have come up with. There is now a new slider at the top of most pages, which link to sections of the site. The new boxes at the bottom of the pages, will always show a product thats for sale within the webstore, and as I have specials come about, these will be shown here as well. They also give my customers a very quick way to send a quote request through to me. I’m still
